A Bedford Humane Society Pet Adoption & Fundraiser Event
This event took place at the “Big House” on Tolers Ferry Road in Huddleston, Virginia. Attendees not only got to tour the house, they also got to meet the sweet adoptable dogs and cats of The Bedford Humane Society, and check out local vendors.
I was honored to be amongst notable authors and vendors, including local artists, jewelry vendors, canine treat vendors, and a local veterinarian.
ParaQuest
ParaQuest took place at the Historic haunted Avenel Plantation in Bedford, Virginia. Karen shared the venue with new and seasoned paranormal enthusiasts speaking about paranormal archaeology, UFOs in Southwest Virginia, cryptozoology, mediums for people and animals, plus information on the ghost of Trans Allegheny lunatic asylum
I shared my insight on “Pets and the Paranormal” and channeled messages to individuals in the audience.
PetEx
The PetEx expo at the Roanoke Civic Center Special Events Center – This event focused on every aspect of companion animals and their owners and included classes, workshops, and presentations to prepare pet parents to be the best they can be, and to give pets a happy, healthy, and long life. Karen was the featured speaker on “What Animals Want to Tell Us”, “Animal Spirits”, and “Where Are They?”
What Is Your Animal Trying to Tell You?
Spiritual Frontiers Fellowship of North Carolina – Karen joined forces with this not-for-profit volunteer organization that has been serving the Triangle metaphysical community since 1973. Their mission is to enhance the spiritual, mystical, and metaphysical awareness and consciousness of our community by sponsoring programs that facilitate personal growth, development, and a holistic approach to health and living.
Karen spearheaded an engaging interactive workshop entitled, What Is Your Animal Trying to Tell You? During the session, she spoke through animals to spawn conversation among workshop participants. As animals made themselves known to Karen, they directed her to its “person” in the audience so that she can voice the message. Although intended for specific individuals, she says, the messages frequently are relevant and helpful to the entire audience. Participants could also bring a photograph or other representation of their pet through which Karen could channel her readings.
Gallery Readings
Karen has engaged in numerous appearances called Gallery Readings. These are quite similar to John Edward’s TV show Crossing Over where she stands in front of an audience, giving audience members information she receives telepathically from beloved living and deceased animals. Franklin, a Golden Retriever, accompanied her many times where he ventured into the audience, sat next to a particular individual and shared his wisdom.
Magazines and Newspapers
Although Karen has been featured in many magazines and newspapers (Washington Post, Washingtonian, and Washington, DC’s Full Disclosure to name a few!), it was the feature length article in USA Today that put her on the proverbial map and solidified her conviction of helping to bridge the gap between pets and their owners.
Birthdays
This birthday girl planned her own birthday party! The celebration took place in the privacy of her home where she and her friends received communications from living and deceased pets. Through tears of joy and sadness, these ladies were privy to a sprinkling of teachings how to communicate with critters.
How do you top a top a 40th birthday party complete with a fortuneteller? Just ask Barbara Radin Fox. She engaged Karen for a one-on-one to communicate with her departed Labrador, Cuddles. She, was so enchanted that she hired Karen to amaze her guests at her 50th birthday party where they were invited to bring pictures of their animal friends, living and deceased.
Horses and Dogs, Oh My!
Labrador Retriever Rescue 20th Anniversary Picnic – This momentous day-long celebration took place at Louise F Cosca Regional Park in Clinton, MD. Not only did Karen offer up her insightful readings at this private event, but also judged the costume contest.
A Day at the Lipizzaner Farm with Grizz (a Lipizzaner horse) and his Barn Buddies – A Karen Wrigley retreat, where attendees, with guidance from the animal kingdom, learned the secrets to embracing self love and what happens when you find it. Attendees learned that when we embrace ourselves, we design the life that was meant to be ours and no one else’s. What would your life be like if you lived in this space all the time? To feel free, have fun, and experience a fabulous life. This out-of-the-box experience enriched lives and left attendees feeling accomplished and renewed.
Additional retreats allowed attendees to step away from their day-to-day life and learn to live life the easy way through the wisdom of the animals in a safe, loving environment. Participants settled in with like-minded people in a small group setting to receive Karen’s messages and insights from Grizz and other Lipizzaner horses on the farm. Often the messages are profound and just the words you’ve been waiting to hear.
“I have attended three of Karen’s retreats with Grizz. The topics and activities could not be more perfect. I just always wish they never end. I learn so much. You come away so much better and so much more alive. Moments spent there are kept in your heart and soul forever. If you want to experience a never-ending, positively heart-warming, soul-searching, spiritual journey just join Karen. You will not be disappointed. Guaranteed!”
